Dry eye is a very annoying condition that really affects your quality of life. The Cause Is What You Need to Find

One condition that causes dry eye is meibomian gland dysfunction, or MGD, which is chronic. In this condition, the glands that produce oils that are part of the tear film that lubricates your eye become blocked and start to malfunction. A new treatment called LipiFlow allows your eye doctor to try to unblock the glands, thus restoring proper tear film composition.
Another potential treatment for problems with the meibomian glands and dry eye is the use of omega-3 supplements from brands such as PRN. Omega-3 vitamins from sources like fish oil have been shown in research to improve gland function, allowing better tear formation.
